Module 2: The Concept of Waste
- Value-Added vs. Non-Value-Added: Definitions and identification in systems
- The 8 Mudas: A deep dive into D.O.W.N.T.I.M.E (Defects, Overproduction, Waiting, etc.)
- Resource Economics: The economic cost of waste in developing nations
Module 3: Six Sigma Basics & DMAIC Overview
- The Normal Distribution: Introduction to the Bell Curve and Variation
- The Roadmap: Brief walk-through of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control
- Belt Hierarchy: Roles and expectations from White to Master Black Belt
